Magdiel Reyes is the founder and General Contractor behind Lineas Construction. His construction experience began well before the formation of Lineas, working hands-on alongside contractors, builders, tradespeople, and field crews across a broad range of residential and commercial construction.
His experience includes residential renovations, exterior construction and improvements, additions, ADUs, ground-up new construction, general commercial construction, restaurants, and real estate property maintenance and improvements.
Working across different types of construction gave Magdiel direct exposure to the trades, building systems, field conditions, and coordination challenges that must come together successfully on a project.That experience shaped the way he approaches construction today.
He understands that a building is not a collection of independent trades. Structure, plumbing, electrical, roofing, waterproofing, interiors, finishes, exterior systems, and site conditions affect one another—and successful construction depends on understanding and coordinating those relationships.
He didn't learn construction from behind a desk. He learned it by building

Residential and Commercial Construction Experience
FROM THE FIELD TO PROJECT LEADERSHIP
Today, Magdiel combines that hands-on construction background with responsibility for the complete project delivery process. His involvement spans project evaluation, pre-construction, estimating, budgeting, constructability, design coordination, scheduling, procurement, trade coordination, field operations, quality control, financial oversight, risk management, and client communication.
He remains hands-on where it matters—evaluating conditions, questioning details, solving problems, and participating in the decisions that materially affect the project.
The objective is not to manage construction from a distance. It is to understand what is happening in the field while maintaining control of the larger project.
EXPERIENCE BUILT INTO THE SYSTEM: LINEAS OI
Years of working in construction also showed Magdiel that successful projects require more than field experience. They require information, communication, documentation, decisions, schedules, costs, and responsibilities to remain connected.
Rather than relying exclusively on disconnected emails, text messages, spreadsheets, and paperwork, Magdiel developed Lineas OI, the internal project operating system used by Lineas Construction. Built around his own construction and project-management experience, Lineas OI helps organize the way the company manages projects and communicates with clients.
Through the Lineas project portal and connected project tools, clients have structured access to relevant project information, communication, documentation, selections, schedules, progress, and other important aspects of their project.The technology was not developed to replace personal communication or field experience. It was developed to support them.

Magdiel approaches construction with a straightforward and disciplined management style. He believes clients deserve clear information—even when that information is not necessarily the answer they expected.
That means communicating what can be done, what should be done, what should not be done, what requires further evaluation, and what falls outside the responsibilities or agreed scope of the project.
His responsibility is not simply to agree with every request. It is to provide professional judgment, communicate the reasoning behind important decisions, and remain focused on delivering the project responsibly.
